Did some serious research, This RFI group has it all wrong, it's not HF HAM
Bands !
The Author from REUTERS is full of it, FAKE NEWS , it is not HF HAM Amateur
Radio frequencies

Power Companies right now are using 900MHz for Billing and this is just an
extension of Wi-Fi Technology Powered by OverHead Lines
where the ISP will need the cooperation of a Power Company to deploy Wi-Fi
units 2.4GHz & 5GHz on Power Poles
They are using this approach, looks more like 2.4GHz/5GHz Mini-Wi hot spots
powered by overhead Power Lines to get to
Rural Places that do not have Cable/Fiber/etc
Probably using Microwave and not HF 1.6MHz -30MHz that was tried before at HF
frequencies

Does not look like HF Bands to me !!!!!

Subject: Re: [RFI] AT&T Begins Testing High-Speed Internet Over Power Lines
I heard them talking about this on the radio today. They specifically referred
to "clamping on the existingpower lines".The whole idea is to leverage the
existing infrastructure.Of course, when the grid goes down it will take this
with it.They also mentioned that it had been tried before but thatthey "Had it
right this time".We need to know the frequencies they'll inject, the
filteringof every device they will use/allow (including cheap Chinesedevices
the FCC/FTC allows to be imported), and how quicklyand effectively will be
remediation of interference. We need to put our elected officials on notice that
we willhold them accountable if they allow this to interfere withemergency
communications and other legal uses of spectrum. We will follow the money to
know who is selling US out. Some dope who wants to watch idiotic movies via the
internetis not a good reason to splatter RFI across America. If it's as bad as
the previous efforts it may as well becomeknown as "ATT's EMP".KD4E> This from
