I have a different model (G750) and it does emit some low-level hash. I heard it on 20 meters and it sounded like a rushing waterfall that slowly drifts in frequency. I didn't notice it until I switched to a dummy load getting ready to tune up the amplifier so it is near the ambient antenna noise level. I snapped on a ferrite choke and the level dropped a little. I just unplug it when I am operating. Carl KB7AZ _______________________________________________ RFI mailing list RFI@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rfi |
