For 6-m ops the 13th harmonic of the colorburst oscillator in TV sets
(and anything else that used that xtal for a timebase) near 50.113 (now
inside the "DX window") was/is a big nuisance (especially if scanning).
Granted, that was one discrete freq, though if strong enough the 15-kHz
string of weaker blips could be found each side of it. I once had a
situation where I could match changes in that and video and deduce which
local (over-the-air) channel that an adjacent neighbor's set was tuned
to! (And, not unexpectedly, that poorly-shielded item was VERY
vulnerable to RFI from me on hf/vhf - even when it was on CATV.)
