Haven't read much of this but assume Mr Edison is laughing somewhere and Mr Tesla is rolling his eyes. Don't get how these are more efficient though, since surely there would be loss when the AC gets rectified at one end and loss when the resulting DC gets chopped into AC for transformation at the other.
