Ted,
You might mention a few parameters associated with the alarm:
1. Powered by internal battery (and NO external wires) or AC powered
2. Where is the alarm located relative to your antennas? Estimate
separation distance between the alarm and nearest point of antenna.
3. Type(s) of antenna(s).
4. RF power level you are running on 40 and 20.
Knowing these conditions can save time for you and those trying to help.

PM [RFI] Interference to CO Alarm
Hello All,
I have an RF problem with my Kidde
Carbon Monoxide Alarm.
The alarm goes off when I am transmitting
on 40 or 20 meters.
Any suggestions as how to filter the alarm?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated...

Ted K2QMF
