Looks like AFCIs are required in "dwelling-unit bedrooms" for new construction as of January 1, 2002. I don't have any experience with these, but understand they can be subject to nuisance tripping -- as are GFCIs, but apparently GFCI technology is more mature. Anyone out there familiar with how they react in proximity to a legal limit 160-2m RF environment? Any brands better than others for RFI immunity?
