Try changing your computer ethernet card setting to 10mbit from
100mbit. If the netgear hub is really a hub, it will force all devices
to use 10mbit and the 14.030 noise should go away. If it is a switch,
then you will need to do the same to all devices. Or get a hub... You
can move your 100mbit stuf far away and use 10mbit connections to there,
with ferrites, or better yet optical fiber, which is pretty cheap on
eBay. You can get 10 and 100 mbit equipment (pci cards, converters,
fiber) etc for thr $5-$35 range. Try old style connectors such as ST
for the best prices.
