Interesting article on using TV freqs for broadband: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=582&e=4&u=/nm/20040513/wr_nm/telecoms_wireless_fcc_dc I don't know the ramifications of this, but from an anti-BPL perspective, this could be a wonderful thing. Note a couple of quotes near the end of the article. All of a sudden, the FCC is concerned about interfering with licensed (TV) services... too bad they don't think that way about the rest of us licensed services...
