It's very loud here in western WV. Up to s-8. I don't have near the antemma
system that Pete, N4ZR has in the WV panhandle, but this thing is wierd. It peaks at different locations from time to time. Sometimes it peaks to the NW and others to the NE. If you listen on AM, I can almost hear audio way down in the rumble. Just listened again...maybe 3 minutes later, and it's down to s3-4, Hmmm. But it is 28 Mhz and skewed paths do happen there. 73, Tom K5IID At 16:14 12/07/03, dj2001@mn.rr.com wrote: I hear it also at 28.635. Signal peaks to the Northwest from me in Twin Cities of Minnesota. Did somebody come out with a new gadget? It's a very strong signal peaking at around S8. It sounds and acts like a local. Perhaps a computer.
