try putting the modem in an aluminum (or other metal) box and grounding the
box? all I can think of off hand.

Any one out there using a Speed Stream 5667 DSL Modem or similar external
modem by Efficient Networks? Having a bear of a time keeping RF that
unsyncs the modem
out even at low power.
I never had the problem with an internal DSL modem. So I do not think it is
a problem with the telco line.
Here is what I have done so far:
1. Ferrite beads on all leads to modem. (The correct kind and lots of
turns)
2. Physically moved the modem around
3. Covered the modem in aluminum foil
4. Removed the Ethernet cable from the modem so it is only the power cube
and the telco DSL line
5. Substituted power cubes
6. Inverted the power cube in the AC mains outlet
Any one with more ideas? (Other than junking the modem)
