Dave,

Tnx for the heads up. Kinda sad, though, that a "reliable" brand name doesn't
ensure quality. I guess just because it was made by Ford doesn't mean it's a
Lincoln (now, nobody complain that I'm picking on Ford - I drive a Ford
product!).
Wonder what EMI specs were "labeled"; FCC-B, CE compliant, or ???

If one goes to the STAPLES online store, you will find at least 10 brands
listed and I doubt that you will find all of them at any (well, maybe a
*really* big one) STAPLES walk-in store (and for certain at my local one!). I
am in the slow
(read: s-l-o-w/unreliable ISP) process of trying to compile specs on the 15" &
17" monitors including published EMI specs (don't expect to find them on the
STAPLES site). I will compile these into an EXCEL spreadsheet when done and
post
same to this reflector. Next will be to try to find people with actual use
experience to contribute and see if there is any correlation with brand, price,
specs.

If we all post our experiences with *specific* brands/models, the database will
only help us all.

Tnx & 73,

Tom - WA2BPE
