Not to mention reliability. I used to work at
AST Research. The Chief was said to
ocassionally buy PS and chassis' at Fry's: "Why
can't we buy this stuff as cheap as Fry's sells
it?"

Then he had to be SHOWN why.

He never did ask why we had to meet Part 15.
But then, there have been a few examples made
in THAT area. I seem to recall that Tandy
(before my time there) had to recall their
first IBM-compatible computer at FCC orders -
just before Christmas - and pay a fine. Ouch!
