This "code enforcer" is a real piece of work. However, a close reading of
the letter indicated to me that he/she/it recognizes a lack of local
jurisdiction, which is why the letter ultimately says "The enforcement of
the FCC codes and any required testing and certification is enforceable by
the FCC. A copy of the original complaint is being forwarded to the
Federal Communications Commission..."
So what this comes down to is scare tactics by someone who misreads and
misquotes Federal regs in the hope of being able to tell the complaining
homeowner, "See what I did for you."
Folks like this give local government a bad name!
