Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Sep 03 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at low levels. Region 2860 (S29W84, Dai/beta) produced a C1 flare at 02/2055 UTC as it approached the SW limb. Region 2863 (S16E21, Cao/beta) produced low level B-flares during the period. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low over 03-05 Sep.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 7,840 pfu observed at 02/1440 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 03-05 Sep and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected background conditions.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be slightly enhanced on 03 and 05 Sep.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet with an isolated period of unsettled conditions.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled on 03 Sep, with mostly quiet conditions expected to prevail on 04 Sep. Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected again on 05 Sep due to the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS.
