Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jun 25 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2833 (N23W91, Hsx/alpha) produced an isolated B flare but was otherwise inactive as it neared the the west limb. Additional B-class x-ray activity was observed from new Region 2835 (S17E66, Bxo/beta). No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low over 25-27 Jun.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels over 25-27 Jun and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment was somewhat enhanced. Total field (Bt) began the period less than 5 nT but increased to 11 nT by 24/2301 UTC. At the same time Bz deviated southward for about two hours, briefly reaching a maximum southward deviation of -10 nT. By about 25/0100 UTC, the IMF had recovered nearer to background levels where it then remained through the end of the reporting period. The solar wind averaged around 380 km/s. Phi was highly variable, suggesting proximity to the current sheet.

Forecast: A mostly ambient solar wind environment is expected through 27 Jun, although additional, minor enhancements cannot be ruled out.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet through 27 Jun. Isolated unsettled periods are possible through 26 Jun with intermittent enhancements in the IMF.
