Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Feb 15 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 15-17 Feb.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 15-17 Feb. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at mostly background levels. Total field strength was at or below 4 nT while the Bz component varied between +/-3 nT. Solar wind speeds began the period near 400 km/s and gradually decreased to end-of-period values near 325 km/s. Phi angle was predominantly in a negative orientation.

Forecast: A recurrent, positive polarity CH HSS is expected to cause slight enhancements late on 15 Feb and persist through 16 Feb. A return to nominal conditions is expected on 17 Feb.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast Quiet to unsettled levels are expected on 15-16 Feb with the arrival of the positive polarity CH HSS. Mostly quiet levels are expected on 17 Feb.
