Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Nov 05 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity reached low levels again during the period. Region 2781 (S24E59, Dki/beta) produced a C7/1F flare at 05/0022 UTC, as well as additional low-level C-class flares. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 05-07 Nov, with C-class flares likely and a slight chance for M-class flares all three days.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 05-07 Nov, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters remained near background levels throughout the period. Total field strength averaged near 4 nT, the Bz component fluctuated between +/-2 nT, solar wind speeds remained below 350 km/s, and the phi angle held steady in a positive orientation.

Forecast: A slow solar wind regime is anticipated to continue through 05 Nov. A weak enhancement from a negative polarity CH HSS is possible on 06-07 Nov.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: Geomagnetic activity was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain primarily quiet on 05 Nov. Isolated unsettled periods are expected on 06-07 Nov due to weak CH HSS influences.
