Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Apr 25 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. A region of plage produced a pore in the SW quadrant. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 25-27 Apr.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 25-27 Apr. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, were near background conditions. Solar wind speeds were between ~360-450 km/s. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 3-8 nT while the Bz component briefly reached -7 nT around 24/1620 UTC. The phi angle was variable. At approximately 24/1520 UTC the DSCOVR spacecraft underwent an X-axis magnetometer calibration which created an unreliable wave signature in the solar wind data stream.
Forecast: An ambient solar wind regime is expected on 25-27 Apr.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet with isolated periods of unsettled conditions.
Forecast: Mostly quiet levels are expected on 25-27 Apr as an ambient background regime persists.
