Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Apr 12 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels on 12-14 Apr.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels through 14 Apr. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a slightly enhanced environment due to weak, negative polarity CH HSS influence. Solar wind speed steadily increased from approximately 350 km/s to near 470 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-8 nT while the Bz component varied between +4 nT to -8 nT. Phi angle was in a predominately negative solar sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at slightly enhanced levels through 12-13 Apr due to negative polarity CH HSS influence. A return to nominal levels is expected by 14 Apr.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on 12-13 Apr due to persistent CH HSS activity. Mostly quiet conditions are expected on 14 Apr.
