Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Apr 02 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No significant changes were observed in Region 2759 (N28E30, Hrx/alpha). No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 02-04 Apr.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was primarily moderate, with a few brief occurrences of high levels - but not frequent or long enough in duration to warrant a high flux level alert. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 02-04 Apr. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters returned to near nominal levels over the period. Solar wind speed decreased from approximately 460 km/s to near 420 km/s. Total field ranged from 2-4 nT while the Bz component was between +/-3 nT. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in a negative solar sector.

Forecast: The solar wind field is expected to be near nominal levels on 02-04 Apr. Occasional minor enhancements are possible on 02-03 Apr due to flanking influences of the south polar, negative polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected on 02-03 Apr in response to occasional solar wind field disturbances. Primarily quiet conditions are expected on 04 Apr as CH HSS influences diminish.
