Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Mar 28 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 28-30 Mar.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels with a peak flux value of 453 pfu observed at 27/1825 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate levels on 28-30 Mar. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters continued at near nominal levels throughout the period. Solar wind speed ranged from ~365-420 km/s, total field was between 2-5 nT and the Bz component ranged from +/-4 nT. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in a negative solar sector with brief excursions into a positive sector.

Forecast: Solar wind conditions are expected to be at or near nominal levels on 28 and 29 Mar. An uptick in solar wind conditions is expected on 30 Mar due to the influence of a high speed stream, negative polarity extension off the southern coronal hole.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on 28 and 29 Mar with unsettled to active conditions on 30 Mar due to coronal hole influence.
