Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Nov 22 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and no sunspots were present on the visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected 22-24 Nov.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels 22-24 Nov due to CH HSS influences. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of positive polarity CH HSS onset. Total field peaked at 13 nT at about 21/1800 UTC while the Bz component reached a maximum southward extent of -8 nT at about the same time period. Wind speeds increased through the period to a maximum of near 655 km/s at 22/0200 UTC before a gradual decrease to end the period at about 550 km/s. The phi angle was in a predominately positive orientation through the period.

Forecast: Solar wind speeds over 500 km/s are anticipated to continue for the remainder of 22 Nov due to the positive polarity CH HSS. Elevated, but waning, solar wind speeds are expected on 23-24 Nov as the CH HSS remains geoeffective.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels, with isolated active periods, due to CH HSS effects.

Forecast: For the remainder of 22 Nov, the geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels, with isolated active intervals, due to continued CH HSS effects. Predominately quiet to unsettled conditions are expected on 23-24 Nov in response to weakening CH HSS influence.
