Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 26 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and there were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available satellite imagery this period.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 26-28 Oct.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels this period with a peak flux of 21,200 pfu observed at 25/1855 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on 26-28 Oct, with very high flux levels likely on 26-27 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters indicated the continued influence of a positive polarity CH HSS this period. Solar wind speeds remained elevated at around 575-675 km/s and Bz became sustained southward after 26/0600 UTC.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain enhanced on 26-28 Oct due to continued CH HSS influence.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field reached isolated G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels this period in response to positive polarity CH HSS effects.
Forecast: Isolated periods of G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels are expected on 26 Oct due to continued CH HSS influence. Active conditions are expected on 27-28 Oct as CH HSS effects wane and begin to subside.
