Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 17 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels on 17-19 Oct.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected be at normal levels on Oct 17-19. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels. Solar wind speed ranged mostly between 380-450 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-7 nT while the Bz component was between +4/-5 nT. Phi angle was mostly oriented in a positive solar sector.

Forecast: Background solar wind conditions are expected on 17-19 Oct.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Quiet conditions, with a chance of isolated unsettled periods, are anticipated for 17-19 Oct.
