Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 08 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The visible disk was spotless, and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low 08-10 Oct.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at moderate to high levels through 09 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels for the next three days.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at near background levels with some minor current sheet enhancements. Total magnetic field strength was 6 nT or less, and wind speeds fluctuated between 350 km/s and 400 km/s. Phi angle oscillated between positive and negative solar sectors.

Forecast: Weak influence from a negative polarity CH HSS is possible 08-09 Oct.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Isolated unsettled periods associated with weak CH HSS influence are possible on 08-09 Oct. Otherwise quiet conditions are expected the next three days (08-10 Oct).
