Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 06 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low. The visible disk was spotless and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low over 06-08 Oct.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels, with a maximum flux of 3,318 pfu. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at moderate to high levels over 05-07 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels all three days.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the ACE spacecraft, suggested interaction with the current sheet. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 1-8 nT, Bz was between +/- 5 nT, and solar wind speed fluctuated from 375-460 km/s. Phi angle was variable.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters may experience weak enhancements from the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS on 06 Oct. Mostly nominal conditions are expected on 07 Oct. Negative polarity CH HSS influence is again likely on 08 Oct.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet with isolated unsettled periods possible on 06 and 08 Oct due to possible weak CH HSS influence.
