Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Sep 02 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at very low levels. Region 2748 (N14E15, Bxo/beta) was stable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 02-04 Sep.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached very high levels today with a peak of 53,007 pfu observed at 01/2015 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high to very high levels on 02-04 Sep in response to CH HSS influence. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters continued to be elevated over the period under the influence of a positive polarity CH HSS. Wind speeds peaked at 769 km/s at 01/2354 UTC and ended the period near 650 km/s. Total field started at 8 nT and decreased to 3 nT to close out the period. Bz dropped as low as -7 nT. Phi angle was positive.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain elevated on 02 Sep as CH HSS conditions persist. A gradual decrease in solar wind speed is likely by midday on 03 Sep, extending through 04 Sep.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at unsettled to G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm levels due to continued CH HSS effects.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at unsettled to G1 (Minor) storm levels on 02 Sep as CH HSS effects persist. Quiet to unsettled levels are expected on 03 Sep as HSS conditions slowly wane. Mostly quiet conditions are expected on 04 Sep.
