Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Jun 09 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 09-11 Jun.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to increase to moderate to high levels all three days (09-11 Jun) due to an enhanced solar environment. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were enhanced early in the period due to CME influences. This is now believed to be related to the filament that disappeared from near S05E52 at around 03/0715 UTC. A return to nominal conditions was observed over the latter half of the period. Total field peaked at 20nT near 08/1520 UTC before settling near 5nT later in the period. A maximum southward Bz deviation of -17nT was observed at 08/1542 UTC. After 09/0300 UTC, Bz ranged from +/- 3nT. Phi angle was oriented in a mostly negative solar sector.

Forecast: Nominal conditions are expected to continue through 09 Jun. Influence from a negative polarity CH HSS is expected to elevate solar wind velocities behind the transient and through 10-11 Jun.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field ranged from quiet to minor storm (G1) levels due to the slow-moving CME effects.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels for the remainder of the forecast period (09-11 Jun) due to CH HSS activity.
