Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Nov 01 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low. There were no sunspots, and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low 1 Nov-3 Nov.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 1 Nov-3 Nov, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment remained at nominal levels. Wind speeds averaged near 325 km/s, total field remained averaged near 4 nT, Bz fluctuated between +/- 5 nT, and the phi angle oscillated between the positive and negative sectors.

Forecast: Mostly quiet conditions are expected 1-2 Nov under an ambient background solar wind regime. Late on 3 Nov, a CIR ahead of an anticipated positive polarity CH HSS is expected to arrive at Earth, resulting in enhancements in solar wind parameters.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast:

Mostly quiet conditions are expected on 1-2 Nov under an ambient background solar wind regime. Late on 3 Nov, a CIR ahead of an anticipated positive polarity CH HSS is expected to arrive at Earth, resulting in unsettled to active conditions, with G1 (minor) storm levels likely.
