Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Oct 27 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The visible disk was spotless. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 27-29 Oct.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to by at normal to moderate levels on 27-29 Oct and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected nominal background conditions.

Forecast: Nominal levels are anticipated on 27-28 Oct under a nominal solar wind regime. A weak enhancement in total magnetic field strength is anticipated on 29 Oct from a SSBC.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: Mostly quiet levels are expected on 27-28 Oct under nominal solar wind conditions. Quiet to unsettled levels are likely on 29 Oct due to the influence of an anticipated SSBC.
