Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 May 20 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at very low levels. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low all three days (20-22 May).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels for the next three days (20-22 May). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected a nominal solar wind environment. Total magnetic field strength was at 5 nT or below. No significant periods of negative Bz were observed. Solar wind speeds varied between +5/-4 nT. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the negative sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be at or near nominal levels for the forecast period (20-22 May).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet for the forecast period (20-22 May).
