Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 May 03 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low and no sunspots were present on the visible disk. No CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low the next three days (03-05 May).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels all three days (03-05 May) and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of nominal conditions. Solar wind speeds averaged near 360 km/s. Total field strength was between 2 and 5 nT, while the Bz component was mostly northward. The phi angle was positive.

Forecast: A slow solar wind regime is expected to continue the next three days (03-05 May).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain primarily quiet all three days (03-05 May).
