Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Apr 29 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2706 (N03, L=284) decayed to an area of plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low over the next three days (29 Apr-01 May).

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels this period with a peak flux of 1,250 pfu at 28/2120 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels throughout the period.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on days one and two (29-30 Apr) and moderate levels on day three (01 May). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment was at nominal levels. Solar wind speed was steady near 385 km/s. Total field peaked at 6 nT while Bz dropped to a low of -3 nT. Phi angle was positive.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain at nominal levels throughout the forecast period (29 Apr-01 May).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet levels, with a chance for isolated unsettled periods, all three days (29 Apr-01 May).
