Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Apr 06 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity continued at very low levels under a spotless solar disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low for the next three days (06-08 Apr).

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to remain at normal to moderate levels over the next three days (06-08 Apr). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected an ambient solar wind regime. Total field (Bt) remained below 10 nT, Bz was variable between +/-6 nT, and Phi angle remained mostly oriented in the positive sector. Solar wind speeds gradually increased through the day, from 335 km/s to near 450 km/s, but steadily decreased to end the period near 375 km/s. Forecast: Minor enhancements in the solar wind environment are expected on day one (06 Apr) due to possible CH HSS influence. Nominal conditions are expected over days two and three (07-08 Apr) under an ambient solar wind regime.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet levels, with a chance for an isolated unsettled period, for the remainder of day one (06 Apr) as CH HSS influence subsides. Quiet conditions are expected for days two and three (07-08 Apr) under an ambient solar wind regime.
