Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Feb 11 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at low levels. Region 2699 (S07W07, Dai/beta) produced a C4 flare at 10/1814 UTC, the strongest of the period. The region exhibited minor dissipation and consolidation in the intermediate spots. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: There is a chance for C-class flares, with a slight chance for an isolated M-class flare, over 11-13 Feb the flare potential of Region 2699.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels over 11-13 Feb.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, were slightly enhanced but remained near nominal. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 1-7 nT. Bz was variable with a maximum southward value of -4 nT. Solar wind speeds ranged from 310-400 km/s. A brief period of higher speeds were reported but not considered physical. Phi angle was variable throughout the reporting period.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be at near-background levels over the forecast period (11-13 Feb).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be generally quiet over the next three days (11-13 Feb).
