We have received packages via DHL in the past, and on one occasion, I
called
some mail order company to tell them that I was returning the goods
per their
'free return' policy. The lady took my name and address, and about
the time
I got the package repacked, the doorbell rang! It was the DHL pickup
guy,
and he patiently waited for the last few pieces of tape, and he
already had
a return address label in his hand! They must have some kind of FAX
in the
trucks. It had all the info, including some 'transaction number' and
he put
it on the box, over the other sticker, asked me to sign something,
and was
gone. Remember, I did not contact DHL, the mail order people did,
and that
had to take a few minutes.
It could not have been any easier, save him coming in and doing the
packing
for me.
Now, if DHL had as many shipping points as UPS, I would be more than
happy
to send that way, as well.
