can you give us more information? what do you mean, you
"communicated"? the signalink product i'm familiar with doens't
communicate via rs232. which keyspan product did you use, and which
software program were you running when you communicated with the
orion?
i've had no trouble updating the orion (except trying to get 2.0 from
tentec) using a pcmcia serial port card i bought off ebay and use in
an old ibm thinkpad laptop.

is more orion specific, but most orion owners just follow and post in
the main tentec group. you're more likely to run into someone who has
updated a tentec rig using a mac there.
