FWIW, I used to have the ARC fault problem a couple of years back with my
FT-1000MP and Acom 2000A. Piotr sent me scope photos of the timing problem
with his Omni VI+ and Acom back when he was troubleshooting the problem and
best I could determine the same root cause was not the issue in my case.
I've used the v.1372 Orion in CQ WW CW (beta) and half of ARRL160 fairly
intesively in qsk (keying loop) mode with zero delay without a single instance
of ARC fault. This doesn't mean to say that others might not benefit from
applying Acom's mod (which I haven't done).
