Interesting -- especially since I'm waiting delivery on 1.8Khz and 500Hz filters from T-T :-) Perhaps the real question is what happens to the signal on a relative basis, and if something about the 500Hz filter and/or gain stage to equalize levels is affecting the effective SNR.
