OK - I appreciate all of the responses I have received (many off-the-list)
I managed to come up with a list of "cheats" that I think would be useful
for most (more or less) experienced ops at Field Day.
I also consolidated the overlay files I created in the past as several
worksheets in one Excel workbook, for ease of use.

There are brief instructions on how to download each file and a description
of its contents. (Somebody try it and let me know if it actually works...)
If anybody has any suggestions for improvement or finds some glaring
