Jeff,
I'm pretty sure this is the "one way configuration" that people have talked
about. From what I can surmise, DXTelNet takes over only the TX half of
your COM port. By looping the TXD to the RXD, DXTelNet shoots a spot out
the COM port, which then is received by the same COM port (the RX COM
handler being provided by NA).
