Russ,

We need more detail.

Do you have a computer interface to the rig for freq/mode control?  Is it 
working correctly?

The only way bandchanging gets shut off is if the radio control is turned 
on in the EQUIPMENT CONTROL PANEL and the computer data link to the radio 
is not working.
