I ran a couple of tests this afternoon to try and isolate this problem.
Rebooted Windows 95 into MS-DOS mode--same problem.
Rebooted Windows 95 and opened the DOS utilities provided by W9XT with the
card. I ran alternating CW and SSB--no problems at all.
I also opened DX4Win and used the Windows 95 program to key the CW and used
the DOS utility for SSB--again no problems.
I then opened NA in a DOS window and used it to key CW. Alt-tabbed back to
the DOS utility and the cards memories were trashed again.
One last test, I opened NA in a DOS window and used it to key the W9XT card.
Alt-tabbed back to DX4Win and keyed CW, switched back to NA and all was
fine.
This leads me to believe the problem is in the NA code dealing with CW.
