NEW NA RELEASE 10.18 NOW AVAILABLE
A new version of the NA contest logging program is now available.
The main purpose for this release is to correct some issues with
schedule handling prior to the June VHF QSO Party.
Bugs:
- Contests with ON/OFF times in the .PRN file were not marked
correctly. QSOs with odd QSO points would be marked "ON/OFF"
while actual ON/OFF times were not marked.
- Times for upcoming skeds would not be calculated correctly
(and therefore not visually/audibly announced on time) unless
the computer clock was set on GMT (offset = 0 in CONFIG).
New Features:
- New feature QSOS WITH STATION display added. Shift-F9 brings
up a full screen showing all QSOs with a particular callsign.
- Revised SET SCHEDULE (Alt-E) as a full screen editor where up
to 38 skeds can be entered, revised or deleted.
- Schedules in the SCHEDULES WINDOW (Alt-B) are now shown with
the next impending schedule shown first.
We are having some difficulty uploading this version to the LTA
BBS at (412) 528-8877, but we expect to be able to accomplish
this very soon. Users who need 10.18 for the June VHF QSO Party
this weekend can send an e-mail to datom@contesting.com and we
will send an e-mail reply with NA as an attachment. Hopefully,
this will be a temporary solution that will no longer be
necessary once secure downloads can be accomplished on the DATOM
web page.
