Hello everyone, we have been busy preparing for the release of our 4.9GHz
product. Our next release (v5.10) is going well and I am anticipating release
by the end of February 2005.Version 5.10 is the release that will enable our
Atheros (Marquee) based products to interoperate with Hermes I/II and
Intersil based units.Current trails in Texas are deployed with a KN250 board
equipped with two Atheros based radios acting as dual ISP Base stations. This
particular KN250/v5.10 has a mixture of KN50 (15 ) and KN105/RG1xxx (31)
as satellites. The unit has been operational for about 12 days and all is
well. The owner(s) of this network monitor this list and I welcome their
feedback.
Thanks
Reg Mallory
This 4.9 GHz Marquee product is now available through Terabeam Sales
(production) and consists of the following:

Connector
2) MCL49HEXN - Marquee I PMP Client, 4.9 GHz, High-Power, N-Female

3) MPA49HEXN - Marquee I P2P Unit A, 4.9 GHz, High-Power, N-Female

This is the initial release of the Marquee 4.9 GHz high-power (23dBm peak
power at 36Mbps) products. Antennas and antenna cables are sold
separately. These products have a single 4.9 GHz channel. The
high-power 4.9 GHz Marquees require Terabeam Configurator software
version 5.02-02 or later, and kernel version 5.02-03 or later. (This
software will be included in new versions of the Terabeam
documentation/software CD and posted on the Terabeam web site.) Note
that 4.9 GHz Marquee products will have a maximum wireless data rate
setting of 36Mb/s. This applies to both 4.9 GHz high-power and newly
manufactured 4.9 GHz standard power products.
