Well, I hope not. I'd at least like to populate the APs that I have,
although I'm definitely not going to be deploying any more Karlnet until I
hear strong commitment from the mother ship. One thing, though. At
$230/CPE, it's very competitive with just plain-jane 802.11b...and it's
better than that. All the other solutions out there are, even though technically superior, significantly more expensive on the CPE side. On another note, you like Trango's 900? I was/am a bit disappointed in it. It's range was underwhelming, much less than what I've come to expect from Karlnet/2.4. Their 5.8 PtMP stuff seems really good, however. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jon Loosle" <web@s1i.net> To: "Karlnet Mailing List" <karlnet@WISPNotes.com> Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 4:00 PM Subject: Re: [Karlnet] What is this, "Trick or Treat" or "no news is good news" I think the list is as dead as Karlnet themselves. Have you tried tech support latley, did they call back? Probably not. Wincomm is the only place I have found for product of any kind and. I have ordered a trango setup to start trying it. If its half as good as the 900, then, I will put my karlnet up for sale, again...... Meanwhile, anyone interested in 17 pogo boards, with karlnet license' on them? tony *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 10/29/2004 at 10:09 AM Bob Smith wrote: haven't seen a post since 10-23,, _______________________________________________ Karlnet mailing list Karlnet@WISPNotes.com http://lists.wispnotes.com/mailman/listinfo/karlnet
