Agreed. Thus the reason on our other mailing lists, we use specific
accounts just for that (i.e. for part-15 lists, part15@peakinet.net). Not
sure how this one ended up on my personal account...

I too get their crap. I think that people pull our email addresses off
google, as this list doesn't hide the email addresses of the senders in the
public digest, like other lists.
Google your name, I bet the first 3 hits are posts to this list, and they
contain your email address.

Sourceforge lists don't do that.. you have to be a member of the list to see
others email addresses. Public users who are browsing the archives see
addresses that have the domain cut off. Better design.

Yes, this IS off-topic, but I still feel others should know about it.

We consistently get SPAM e-mails from this company, Microcom Technologies at
www.microcomtec.com <http://www.microcomtec.com/> . We've unsubscribed
before, but continue to get their SPAM. This last time, we e-mailed their
sales department (sbertram@microcomtec.com) and told them to remove us.-
they said they would, apologized, and said they are not trying to
intentionally market to companies that don't care for their SPAM. I find it
interesting, as they obviously harvested e-mail addresses from the web - as
every e-mail account we have on our website gets these each time they do a
mailing.

Anyway, don't buy from these people.
