Dan Metcalf wrote: Not sure, but I believe you need to buy a new license to use the hermesII Hello, The difference between a HermesI and a HermesII is like the difference between an Intersil and a HermesI, or a horse and a mule. Both are 2.4Ghz radios (or farm animals...), however use a different chipset. I am no expert as to the exact technical differences, other than the fact that the HermesII would have a superior WEP engine over the HermesI and that theoretically no performance decrease is to be seen when using WEP and a HermesII. I am hoping to test this soon as soon as I find a vendor that carries such a beast. You do not need a new license, the difference with regards to Turbocell is that the .bin file either supports one or the other. License-wise it is the same license, just a different .bin.
