Put up a second radio in horizontal polarization, leave the original there
in vertical. Then go around to the 35 clients and switch them over to the
other polarization at your leisure. When finished with all of them, pull down
the original vertical base station and either keep it around as a spare or
re-deploy it in a new POP when the new horizontal base station has proven
itself able to reliably perform its duties.

I am going to change a radio from vertical to horizontal polarity. The problem is there is 35 clients off the antenna. What would be the best way to do this to minimize downtime? I don't mind it being slow for a few days, i just want to minimize downtime as much as possible.

Would it be way too much interference to put a splitter in and put the horizontal and vertical antenna off the radio? Or would it be better just to swap to horizontal and go around and change everyone as quickly as possible?

thanks
