I have an AP-1000 with Karlnet 4.44 installed. One of the cards is used as
sattelite making a point-to-point link to another ap-500 with karlnet 4.44.
The other AP-1000 card is used as AP mode and we link different types of
clients link Orinoco, Samsung and WET-11. In associated stations, Orinoco
shows-up the machine name, Samsung shows-up the mac address and Linksys
shows-up Prism I and Hermes I (new Cisco models).
Last week I tried to use a D-link DWL-810+ and some strange situation
happened:
In the client PC, I ping the D-Link via ethernet, I ping the Radio (AP-1000)
but cannot pass through it. Looking the associated stations in the Radio,
nothing appear from D-Link (maybe it is invisible). I already setup the 2
mac addresses of the D-Link (Wlan e Lan) without success.
My question: Do Karlnet 4.44 even used as AP mode support the DWL-810+ from
D-link?
